1.  It is the oldest wine region in the whole world. Current Georgia (located between Western Asia and Eastern Europe)  it is believed by many to be the source of the world’s first cultivated grapevines and wine production which started over 8,000 years ago.

2. It has been producing a kind of amber-colored wine in clay pots called “Qvevri”.

3. It is the only country where popular seeding from France and Italy did not enter, thus the Georgian wines are one of a kind and 100% local.
