Iconic SLS Las Vegas Hotel
SLS hotels are known for their sexy style, unique experience, fine dining and world-class services. What makes them different? I would say trends beyond ordinary and iconic vision of the future.
Until last year we were able to enjoy this splendor and fabulous lifestyle only in South Beach and Beverly Hills, but since August 2014 , SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino pened its doors to an amazing experience. Within the walls of SLS you see traditional hotel luxury taken to another level, injected with the elements of creativity and community, which speak so well to sophisticated audience. But the best part is that company is going global and is expanding to Philadelphia, Seattle, NYC, Mexico and Bahamas.
Let’s talk about SLS Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, as it is absolutely amazing. I personally love everything that is created by Philippe Stack. His designs are always so innovative and so appealing to me, (we talked about him in reference to Faena Buenos Aires or upcoming Faena Miami) therefore it is not a surprise that I loved everything about SLS Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. It caters to the most discerning global travelers seeking for style, glamour and high quality of service. Hotel has three distinctive towers each offering different experience from contemporary to sleek and seductive and high design luxury. It does not matter which one you choose to stay they all deliver this unique essence of SLS unlike any other. You will enjoy perfect, almost heavenly beds, and tasty snacks – called “Saints and Sinners” to finest linen and Hi- Tech equipment.
Where to eat?
What is without the doubt most unforgettable thing about SLS is its variety of 5 star culinary experiences. It was a joy to my taste buds, real feast of flavors, textures and colors, amazing presentations in fun, relaxed and yet elegant settings. I have one word for you – Unforgettable.
Take for example just their main dining like Bazaar Meat by chef Jose Andres, innovative shared plates fine dining concept, once one would thinks typical steakhouse, but it’s so much more than this. If you like meat you will certainly appreciate this place.
For healthier and lighter choices you will be able to enjoy fresh fish, unique rolls and spectacular sashimi platters in
KATSUYA by Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi, currently all Hollywood A-listers most favorite Japanese Restaurant. And if you like as much as I do, open kitchen concepts visit Cloe, Mediterranean classic with modern twist, amazing flat breads from wood-burning oven, mezzes and traditional dishes with chef’s personal flare. Combine Maroccan like setting, fine wines and innovative cocktails and you found yourself one-of-the-kind dining experience. And for casual day time snacks you can enjoy Asian Ku Noodle by Jose Andres, Umami Burger Beer Garden, Pizzerias and Cafes.
What to do ?
List of things to do and places to enjoy is endless and it is unparalleled to any other. SLS Las Vegas offers amazing party and night life scene. I enjoyed their open concept Foxtail Night Club with outdoor pool (daily Foxtail Pool Club) luxurious décor, back jack tables and specialty cocktails. For live music and performances you want to drop by the Sayers Club or just enjoy few cocktails in one of their bars and lounges like Monkey Bar or Center Bar.
And of course casino of SLS Las Vegas Hotel is simply amazing; it is by far most unique gaming destinations on the Strip. It’s extremely stylish and sexy, very inviting with lots of vibrant color, dramatic chandeliers and besides many slot machines, poker tables it’s a great place to be for those who not necessarily want to gamble.
But wait this is not all. What would a luxury hotel be without its Spa. Ciel Spa is located in the Lux Tower of the SLS has beautiful Zen like – Philippe Starck signature touch, snow white spaces, marble floors, relaxing lounges, custom made massage beds , herbal steam rooms, oversized tubs. Unique and very inviting concept of Ciel is certainly a change of style to the traditional Spas you can see around the world it definitely feels Heavenly. (Ciel from Cielo in Spanish means Heaven)
The list of things I can share about SLS has not end, but I will not disclose it all so that you can be surprised and have something to look forward to.
