Think old glamour combined with elegance and grace. We loved our visit to The Scarlet Huntington Hotel in the one and only San Francisco. This charming hotel is beautifully appointed, combining classic trends with the modern twist in the most alluring neighborhood of the city, Nob Hill.

The minute we walked into the main lobby we immeditely felt the magic and could “smell” decated of history. This kind of place makes a real difference when it comes to the boutique way-of-travel experience.

Each room with its individual style, décor and its own identity plus superb service, is what makes this hotel so special and so popular. We knew we wouldn´t be disappointed, as this Hotel is affiliated with the Luxury Hotels of the World Collection and for over 20 years has been considered one of the gems of San Francisco. If you want to stay in this city of hills, you can find endless options of accommodations anywhere from more pricy suites to more moderate, but we believe Boutique and Style puts a different mark on entire experience.

Nob Hill district is considered a high fashion and luxurious district of town, and hotels and restaurants such as Big 4 Restaurant and Bar are places both to see and be seen. You can instantly run into a friend or meet interesting people and it is guaranteed you will have a great time. Restaurant executive chef Kevin Scott will assure your dining experience will be like no other.

We loved the place and its vibrant atmosphere and great selection of wines it has to offer. When staying at The Scarlet Huntington we recommend you take a minute to look around the Big 4 Restaurant to learn more about the history of the place and the Hill.

Amazing pictures and paintings show old San Francisco, before the gold rush with its “palaces” as they called the residences of some of the wealthiest San Franciscans such as Leland Stanford, Collins Potter Huntington and Mark Hopkins, which stood atop the hill before they got destroyed in the tragic earthquake and three day fire of 1906. We loved each and every aspect of the hotel, its atmosphere, friendly staff, fine food and great wines.

We also appreciated the vicinity to the city center, shopping district and all the attractions the town has to offer.  So, if you want to have your very own boutique experience in San Francisco, do check -in to The Scarlet Huntington Hotel.

Weather tips: You can experience four seasons in one day in San Francisco so be sure you have an umbrella, warm sweater or a scarf when going out. Comfortable shoes for walking are highly recommended- remember: the hills??
