Trendy Southeast-Asia dining in the heart of New York City offered by Spice Market Restaurant is by far the best dinign experience.
Restaurant was inspired by its owner’s trip around Thailand, Vietnam, Burma, Malaysia, China and India, among others. He was truly inspired by street market food, all these incredible spices and colors…
Spice Market’s menu authentically uplifts its inspirations while offering guests the additional delight of family-style dining – food comes continuously throughout the meal and is placed at the center of table for all to share. It is hard to recommend just one dish! Regional fish sauces, curries and spices are tweaked to tantalizing effect in dishes like, chicken samosas with cilantro-infused yogurt, a vinegar-infused pork vindaloo or halibut cha ca la vong , this are only some of our favorites. Food & wine parrying is also available. Some great Asian beers and cocktails are also worth trying.
The minute you walk into the restaurant you are transformed into the Orient. All your senses come immeditaly to life , the smell of food, sounds of the music and incredible decore makes of this palce a true unique dining experience. Thanks to the incredile collaboration of the owners with the designer Jacques Garcia Spice Market transports you to “eastern exotica”.
A valuable collection of artifacts were imported from Rajastan, South India, Burma and Malaysia to redefine the restaurant two-level space. Antique wall carvings, screens and pagodas and custom-made colonial style furniture create this unique mix of Orient.
Leather chairs or Chinese porcelain garden stools, rich color palette of violets, indigos and deep reds balance this former warehouse’s raw look into remarcable and inviting space.
