Coe-Due Sisters stylish life
Born and raised in Mexico these two young ladies have always been eager to explore the world! Check how to travel in style by Coe + Due!
1. We love your individual style! Where do you get your inspiration from?
We get inspired very often by things that surround us and of course people we interact with on a daily basis . We do follow trends, but without losing our own style. By traveling and being exposed to other cultures we keep evolving, our style and the way we dress and also the way we see and live our stylish life.
2. What are your favourite Mexican designers or brands ?
Mexico is filled with talented designers and creative people. Right now we are focusing on the emerging talent and supporting young jewelry designers. Some of our favorites are: Lola Bassó, Mhoe and Varón!We invite everyone to visit their sites and check out their work!
3. What are your upcoming travel plans in Mexico?
We are currently uncertain about our summer plans, we usually love to do road trips in Mexico during wintertime. and if we decided to do it, we would definitely be going to Holbox or Campeche or close to home Cuixmala in Costalegre. We’ve also been trying to plan a trip to Oaxaca, so we hope to make it there this year.
4. What would you reccommend for Summer wear?
Our current inspiration for this summer-time is to live in bikinis and sarongs! Off the shoulder tops and dresses are a must this summer time, you will stay fresh & cool.
4. Where to shop while in Mexico City?
Mexico city is such an immense city that you could go from shopping at a concept store like Common People to shopping at the market for some hidden treasures- like La Lagunilla market. We love and encourage anyone to do both. We love high-end brands but like to mix and match them with affordable pieces, vintage items, and especially unique finds. Mexican markets in our opinion have a lot of personality and what better way to get the full experience than by buying something unique and one of a kind.
5.What are your 5 top destinations in Mexico?
We are absolutely in love with Guanajuato. We think it’s definitely a photographer’s paradise: so colorful, colloquial and full of life. Other picks we adore are: Real de Catorce, Xilitla, Tulum, Mexico City and if you are already in Guanajuato- you might want to spend one or two days in San Miguel de Allende.
