SUBLIMITION is the Most Expensive Restaurant in the World
Be prepared for a unique dining experience, creted by Ibiza´s top fine dining Chef Paco Roncero in Sublimition. Unique, culinary show for those with deep pockets in the world’s most high-priced restaurant.
The SUBLIMOTION concept started in 2012, inside the research workshop of spanish Chef Paco Roncero who has been awarded with 2 Michelin stars.
In 2014, Sublimotion opens its doors for the first time on the Ibiza Island, Spain inside the Hard Rock Hotel.
As the owners of the restaurant state: ‘Two years of intense, hard, work along with the cooperation of professionals from different sectors as chefs, designers, engineers, illusionists, set designers, architects, choreographers and screenwriters, achieved the merger of haute cuisine gastronomy and the most breakthrough technology with an unprecedented staging, becoming thus a new stagecraft. This is the first gastronomic show in the world.’
Another interesting fact is that Sublimotion has been recognized in the same year of its opening with the award for best innovation FSB at the World Wide Hospitality Awards 2014! Enough about awards… Sublimotion is an space created to stimulate the 5 senses, a different experiential trip to anything you’ve ever experienced before, today considered most expensive restaurant in Ibiza and the world.
A total immersion in the creative process of the Chef and his team, which will transport you to a new and surprising scene. An experience you may only understand when living it in person. Facade of Sublimotion -its white door do not even remotely speak incredible experience but all the magic is being created insides the walls. Waitresses are dressed as air stewardesses, they introduce dishes as light and laser effects create different worlds to accompany each separate dish. Different settings and videos are beamed onto the screens around the dining area creating a backdrop for the plates and unusual crockery that comes with them.
12 unique diners per Show at One unique table
One top-of the art tasting menu
A team of 27 professionals
Duration of aproximately 3 hours
For this experience you definately need “deep pockets” – average cost per person is $ 2,000 USD! While many shudder at the price tag, celebrities and wealthy holidaymakers are queuing up for bookings.
Good news is that Chef Paco Roncero also operates out of the Estado Puro restaurant, at the Hard Rock hotel, which serves more reasonable Tapas dishes, easier on the wallet and more accesable to most of us.
If you look for this once in a lifetime culinary experience in the most expensive restaurant – Sublimotion is your choice.
